So apparently I have blood from Kfarsghab. From those that went to Australia and anglisized Youssef to Joseph. I have met the relatives living in Easton, PA, as I live close in Philadelphia. I am mix of all kinds now but would be cool to find out more.

Gidday! Great site, makes me so home sick and yet I have never been to Kfarsghab. My great grandfather was one of the first to migrate from the village to Australia in 1888. My grandfather was born in Australia and returned to marry. My father was born in Krarsghab. He arrived in Australia at the tender age of 6 with his parents, brother and sister. Sounds confusing but I love my story. Since my father's death 15 years ago I have had a yearning or calling to 'return'. Intend going over later this year, hopefully September 09. Thank you for this opportunity to share, love and best wishes, Eugene the eldest son of Charles & Maureen

Hi .... Great site !
I have around 50 photos of Kfarsghab and its people taken on a very cheap kodak cassette camera. All the photos were taken July-August 1977. I remember this because while I was there Elvis died ... lol. The photos are not good quality.
I will scan them and upload them to a site, where you could view them. Then if you liked you could have whichever you want for your site or newsletters ... ?
They are mostly of the younger people of that period ... Alto their are old people as well.
Let me know ?
cool bananas ... greg

Hi Youssef, I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your website. I was born in the summer of 1958 in Kfarsghab and moved to the USA in the summer 1973. Every day I think of the villages of Kfarsghab and Moreh. I looked at the pictures on the website but did not see Mar Youssef, unless I missed it. Could you or someone let me know if there are any pictures please post more!!!My e-mail address is cheftonyb@almondtreemanor.com. I love to look at the pictures and listen to the music of my homeland. Thank you, Chef Tony
